Terms of Service

Welcome to The Painted Porch (“TPP”, “we”, “us”). By using the platform, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
TPP is a multi-tenant marketplace and standalone ecommerce platform for independent artisan vendors. Each vendor operates their own shop, owns their own Stripe account, and controls their own domain.
2. Your account
You're responsible for the security of your account and for the content you publish. Don't publish anything that infringes others' rights, violates the law, or is harmful.
3. Payments
On paid tiers, we charge 0% commission on your sales. You pay only the monthly membership fee and Stripe's standard processing fees (which go to Stripe, not us). On the Free Porch tier, we take 10% commission.
4. Refunds
Membership fees are billed monthly and can be canceled anytime. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Order-level refunds are between you and your buyer via Stripe.
5. Liability
We provide the platform “as is.” We're not liable for issues arising from fulfillment you carry out, payments you process via Stripe, or content you publish.
6. Changes
We'll email you if we change these terms materially.
