We’re an accelerator that builds platforms when the off-the-shelf ones get in the way of operators making real things. The Painted Porch is the platform we built for the ten thousand vendors who’d been quietly running real businesses out of someone else’s building.

DotWin LLC
On April 14, 2026, Painted Tree Boutiques filed for bankruptcy and closed more than sixty locations overnight. Thousands of independent artisan vendors — people who’d built real, sustainable businesses inside those walls — lost their storefront, their foot traffic, and in many cases their inventory. They learned from a midnight email.
If you’ve ever tried to start a business, you know how overwhelming the beginning feels. Starting over— with inventory on the line, a deadline from a trustee, a customer list you don’t own, and a family depending on the monthly check — is something else entirely. We’ve spent years in the margins of small businesses. We know what this feels like. And we know it is solvable.
We didn’t build The Painted Porch as a charity. We didn’t build it as a lifeboat. We built it as the platform we’d have wanted on that Tuesday morning.
A place to list your shop. To rebuild your storefront on your own domain. To keep selling through the marketplace while you breathe. To never hand your customer list to anyone again.
The Painted Porch is built and run by Skylar and Shelby Webber, owners of DotWin LLC. DotWin is a business accelerator. We work alongside small business owners to grow them into large ones, using the same playbook every time:
- get honest about the numbers,
- plug directly into direct-to-consumer and B2B channels,
- install the systems and software that let small teams compete with national brands,
- and put real marketing behind real products.
We’re not a software vendor renting you tools. We’re an accelerator that happens to build software because the off-the-shelf stuff kept getting in the way of our clients.
Chapter III · The Architecture
How three things fit under one roof.
DotWin LLC
The accelerator. Hands-on operators working with a small number of small businesses each year — rebuilding sales channels, installing the software that runs them, and putting the marketing behind them to scale into real revenue.
The Painted Porch
The product that came out of that work. Multi-tenant marketplace, per-vendor websites, porch pickup, popups, email, funnels, AI copilots. The leverage layer for every operator who was tired of paying rent and commission on someone else’s floor.
The Project
The free public front door — directory, community, bankruptcy brief, free build offer for displaced vendors. Underwritten by DotWin because it’s the right thing to do and because the operators we help today are the ones we want in the room tomorrow.
You can use The Painted Porch without ever paying us a dollar. Free Forever is real. Paid tiers exist for vendors who want the full accelerator on their account — that’s where DotWin makes its money, and where vendors turn a booth into a brand.
The Painted Porch was born from a crisis. It is not onlyfor the people in it. The problem that took down Painted Tree — and Tuesday Morning before it, and Pier 1 before that, and the independent boutique on your corner last year — is the same problem.
Small businesses keep paying rent and commission on infrastructure they don’t own, to aggregators that can shut the door without notice.
The Painted Porch is the answer to that problem. It’s the best of every channel a modern artisan needs, stitched into one stack — one merchant account, one customer list, one place to log in.
01
Your own online storefront
On your own domain, built by us, owned by you — unlimited products, Stripe Connect payouts direct to your bank, zero commission on every sale you drive yourself.
02
A national marketplace
That runs ads for you, ranks in Google for your categories, and sends buyers to your shop without you having to learn Meta Ads Manager at midnight.
03
In-person when it matters
Vendor porch pickup from your own front door. A national Porch Pro network for buyers who live across town. Popup-market programs so you can still look customers in the eye.
04
Shipping when it doesn’t
Real rates, real labels, no drop-ship middleman. Every label sized to the actual product, not a "best guess."
05
Systems that make you look bigger than you are
Email lists you own, funnels that actually convert, a CRM that remembers customers, AI drafts in your voice, and a vendor community of people who’ve already solved the problem you’re stuck on.
If you make something real and someone is buying it, this platform is for you — whether you came from a Painted Tree booth, an Etsy shop that stopped working, a Shopify store that feels lonely, or a kitchen table you’ve been running for six years out of sheer will.
The honest disclosure
What we don’t do.
We don’t offer legal advice. We don’t represent any vendor in the Painted Tree bankruptcy. We’re not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in a grievance with Painted Tree Boutiques — we just built the resource the people they left behind needed.
We don’t resell your data, rent your customer list, or hold your payouts. Every sale runs through your own Stripe account. We’re the platform, not the middleman.
How to reach us
We answer the email.
Email hello@paintedporch.market or use the contact form. Every email is read by a human, usually by Skylar or Shelby. We answer within a day, often within an hour.
Operated by DotWin LLC, a Texas limited liability company.
The thesis
That’s the whole posture. Every screen we build, every email we send, every round of ad spend is judged against it. If it doesn’t earn the thesis, we don’t ship it.
